About Us and Our Commitment to Clients
Agents partnering with clients as family in Central Ohio to Achieve Protection
Through good times and bad, an insurance agent serves as a trusted guide along the winding path of life. Whether expanding your business or recovering from a car accident, this individual provides informed advice and reliable protection. At Hoffmann and Associates Insurance Services, Inc., we take pride in our ability to meet and exceed this standard.
Regardless of the direction life takes you, we’ll be there to offer peace of mind with comprehensive insurance services. Stating we treat clients as family isn’t a cliché, it’s the framework with which we conduct business. We’re proud to say this reputation often supersedes our marketing efforts, resulting in long-lasting client relationships and a business built on their referrals.
An Encompassing Insurance Program
Insurance is often an industry professionals stumble upon as a career. However, that simply wasn’t the case for Alan Hoffmann, who founded our agency. A second-generation insurance professional, Alan followed in his father’s footsteps after studying risk management and insurance services at the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.
Alan Hoffmann’s wealth of experience and willingness to do whatever he can to meet client needs, trickles down to all facets of our business. Following the standard he sets forth, agents combine their own experiences with a passion for insurance. This model results in comprehensive insurance solutions - turning negative situations into positive outcomes.
Jackie Bauman, who applies more than a decade of experience as an insurance agent, heads our personal insurance program. Whether seeking protection for a residence or vehicle, Jackie can tailor coverage to secure your essential assets. Many individuals seek to combine their homeowners and auto insurance into a multiline policy. This can result in discounted rates and additional coverage offerings. Jackie will work with you to determine the best route toward protection, including bundling policies.
On the commercial side, Whitney Watts is the account manager for our business insurance program. Whitney channels strong business acumen with attention to detail to coordinate coverage for companies of various sizes and scopes. For small to medium-sized businesses, we recommend a business owners policy (BOP). A BOP combines property insurance, general liability insurance, crime insurance, and additional coverages into a single, cost-effective policy.
Katrina Hunter and Bryan Long round out our staff. Throughout the lifecycle of your policy, Katrina is available to offer unbeatable customer service. Katrina, who is commonly referred to as ‘the velvet pit bull,’ is known for her passion for helping others and determination to complete any and all tasks thrown her way. Sharing this dedication to clients, Bryan was brought up in the insurance industry. He learned first-hand the art of quality client care from his grandfather, who owned Pipes Insurance Agency in Newark, Ohio dating back to 1932.
Our staff is enthusiastic to learn about your needs and match those requirements with personalized insurance coverage. To begin this process, request a quote at your convenience.
A Staple in the Insurance Industry and in the Community
Just like you, we live and work in Central Ohio. This close proximity to our clients gives us an advantage when customizing policies. By residing in the same neighborhoods and driving around the same turns, we understand the risks prevalent to the area and pursue coverage accordingly.
We also partner with a collection of established, national carriers. This partnership ensures a reliable insurance product backs each policy written. For clients, this translates into personal, one-on-one attention with an agent, accompanied by a wide-range of coverage sections.
Aside from our commitment to insurance, we’re also passionate about the community.
This dedication begins at the top, as our owner, Alan Hoffmann, currently serves as the president of the Newark Sport and Event Commission that oversees The Lou and Gib Reese Ice Arena. In the past, Hoffmann acted as president of the Newark Ice Hockey Association, Grandview Heights Chamber of Commerce, and Gamma Iota Sigma (The International Risk Management, Insurance, and Actuarial Science Collegiate Fraternity). Hoffmann is also a supporter of the Spielman Gridiron Classic, which affords resources to high school athletes, athletic departments, and raises money for breast cancer research. He is a former board member of the Granville Chamber of Commerce and NAIFA Columbus (The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors).
